Scholarship News

Celebrating 50 years!

  • It was 50 years ago that the first recipients received a scholarship to honour the legacy of an inspirational teacher and coach. His memory continues through the annual award of a scholarship to support student athletes in their pursuit of a post-secondary education.
  • Several activities are being planned for later in the Summer and into the Fall to mark the occasion and bring together members of the FWMS community. We will provide details as they become available and also post them to our website at http://fatherwhelihanscholarship.ca/donate/. You will also find instructions there on how to make a donation to help sustain the scholarship fund.
  • In recognition of our 50 years, the Scholarship is sponsoring a 50/50 Raffle. Please show your support by buying some tickets for our draw in August hosted by Rafflebox at the following website: https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/fwmss
